Two views looking westerly along the QEW/403 from between Brant Street and
Guelph Line. Where the 403 is co-designated along Highway 403 is one
of the most chronically congested stretches of highway in the province.
Observe thick volume of traffic on the highway. Considering that these
photos were taken
at mid-afternoon on a weekday in April, it is not hard to understand why MTO
has recently undertaken several projects to widen the highway to 8-lanes
through all of Burlington and Oakville Upper Photo taken: April 19th, 2007. Low-res: 45kb. High-res: 150kb. Lower Photo taken: April 19th, 2007. Low-res: 50kb. High-res: 160kb. |

carrying Toronto-bound traffic. Photo taken: May 8th, 2005. Size: 65kb. |
