Highway 29 forms the important route between Smith Falls and Brockville.  It was certainly one of the most illogical downloads of 1998.

   Southern Terminus:  Junction Highway 2 in Downtown Brockville

Northern Terminus:  Junction Highway 15 in Smiths Falls.

Length:  51.7 km

Status:  Entirely downloaded:  New name is Leeds & Grenville Road 29.

Interesting Facts:  Highway 29 once existed all of the way from Brockville to Arnprior (via Carleton Place).  The Smith Falls to Carleton Place section was incorporated into Highway 15.

Highway 29 Splits into two unidirectional roadways around the courthouse:

NB: Ramp right from the hill heading away from downtown, keep left at Pine Street.  Turn left at Pearl Street stop sign.  Turn Right at Steward Street.

SB: Keep left at pine street, then keep right away from Highway 29NB traffic.
