King's Highway 32 represents
the main north-south artery for the town of Gananoque. Highway 32 linked Gananoque
to the Rideau Lakes Region of Ontario, and is a popular route for tourists
traversing scenic Eastern Ontario. Like many other Ontario provincial
Highways that linked smaller Southern Ontario communities, Highway 32 was
downloaded in its entirety on January 1st, 1998; the route is now maintained by
the County of Leeds and Grenville, and is known as Leeds and Grenville Road 32.

Southern Terminus: Highway 32 ended in
downtown Gananoque where it met with Highway 2.

Junction Highway 15 east of Steeleys Bay

AADT (1994): Highest: 3,750, from
Gananoque (Highway 401) northerly to Maple Grove Road
Lowest: 1,500, from Maple Grove Road northerly to Highway 15
Status: Totally downloaded in 1998.
Now known as Leeds & Grenville Road 32.
Road Info: Highway 32 is in fairly
good shape for its entire length. It is evident however that this
section of Highway 32 was last rehabilitated by the County of Leeds &
Grenville. |
