Airport Road in North Bay. Airport Road is located about 1 km north of
Highway 17 in North Bay. Highway 11 is an undivided 4-lane highway for
about 5km north of North Bay. North of North Bay, Highway 11 is but a
conventional 2-lane highway for virtually the entire length to Thunder Bay.

Kirkland Lake. This picture is taken while looking south on Highway
11. At this junction, Trans-Canada Highway traffic can either turn
left and take the Kirkland Lake Route towards PQ Highway 117, or continue
straight ahead towards North Bay on Highway 11. Unfortunately Ontario
does not show Trans-Canada Highway shields at junctions.
