Advanced signage for Stanley Avenue.  Presently, Stanley Avenue is the only interchange for the entire length of Highway 405.  Prior to 2004, Highway 405 also had an interchange with the Niagara Parkway.  Access to the Parkway was closed in both directions as part of border improvements at the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge.

Looking east along Highway 405 from the Stanley Road overpass.  Notice the eastbound (right) carriageway has an extra (third lane) over the westbound carriageway.  This is a truck climbing lane, to separate slow trucks climbing the Niagara Escarpment from higher speed traffic.  Ahead, this climbing lane defaults off from the mainline 405 lanes, into the Truck Customs Facilities.
