Highway 407 looking west from the Brant Street overpass in Burlington.  This picture showcases the eastern end of the 407.  Because the western leg of the 407 was originally intended to be part of Highway 403, the western end of the 407 simply defaults onto the 403, rather then equally favouring both the 403 and the QEW.

Two views of Highway 407 from the Highway 27 overpass.  The first picture showcases the eastern side of the large 407/427 interchange.  The second photo shows the braided ramps between Highway's 27 and 427.  Because of the close proximity of the Highway 27 and 427 interchanges, the ramps needed to be separated from each other a flyover to prevent weaving.  Click here for high resolution photo (160kb).

Signage at the ramp to Weston Road from Highway 407.  Notice the pull-through signage for Highway 400 is of a slightly different design then the signage for Weston Road.  Like many other new signs, this sign was made by an independent contractor after the 407 was leased to a private firm, and the sign has several slight differences compared to typical MTO-made signage.
