Ends signage for the southern terminus of Highway 410 at the Highway
403/401
interchange. Interestingly, despite being a through-route,
Highway 403
was not originally accessible from the 410. This is especially odd
considering that an underpass under Highway 401 had been constructed exactly
for this purpose when Highway 410 was first constructed. This underpass sat
unused until the early 1990s when the ramps to Highway 403 were finally
opened. Picture size: 45kb. |

Highway 410 looking south from the Courtneypark Road overpass. In the distance of this picture is the 401/403/410 mega-interchange. The high level overhead from the EB 401 to the NB 410 is arguably the most impressive freeway to freeway flyover in Ontario. Picture taken: June 24th, 2004. Size: 110kb. |

Highway 410 looking north from the Courtneypark Road overpass. Highway 410 has come a long way from the super-2 type of expressway that it was when constructed in the early 1980s. Highway 410 is now 6 to 8 lanes for its entire length and has several multi-level freeway to freeway interchanges. Picture taken: June 24th, 2004. Size: 60kb |

Looking north towards the Highway 407
interchange from the Derry Road overpass. The
Highway 407 interchange was located in
close proximity to the Derry Road interchange, because of this the Derry
Road interchange was reconfigured with braided ramps on the north side to
eliminate the possibility of weaving. Photo taken: August 28th, 2005. Low-res: 70kb. High-res: 210kb |

Looking north along Highway 410 from the Clark Boulevard overpass. The
interchange at Clark Boulevard has the distinction of being one of the first
interchanges that was fully completed when the 410 was only a two-lane
undivided highway. Picture taken: August 28th, 2005. Size: 50kb. |

Highway 410 looking north from the Queen Street overpass. From Queen
Street northerly to Franceshini Road (a distance of about 1km) Highway 410
is depressed below grade. Presumably, the freeway is depressed to
minimize disruption to the surrounding residents. Picture taken: May 12th, 2005. Size: 45kb. |

Highway 410 looking south from the Bovaird Road (Highway 7-West) Overpass. Highway 410 currently ends at Bovaird Drive, however, Heart Lake Road (a standard surface street) continues north of Bovaird on the same alignment as Highway 410. The Highway 410 extension will eventually bypass current Heart Lake Road to the east. Picture taken: August 1st, 2004. Size: 40kb |
